In South Florida, you'll encounter some of Florida wildest habitats in the Big Cypress Swamp, a vast wilderness of sawgrass prairies, tree islands, and cypress strands. These watery Everglades habitats are echoed in the wilds of western Palm Beach County in Corbett WMA. Our trails traverse hammocks dense with tropical trees, the tops of dikes built for control of the flow of natural rainfall throughout South Florida, and broad open prairies along the Kissimmee River floodplain.
