Programs
Trail OlympicsGuided by our strategic plan and an annual Program of Work, our staff implements programs and projects at a state and national level.

We help guide state policy regards land acquisition, trails, and nature-based tourism; support our local chapters; organize and run seasonal trail crews and volunteer trainings; secure funding sources through partner agreements and grants; and provide details about the trail - in print and online - for the education and enjoyment of the general public.

Our major programs include the Trails program, which encompasses trail maintenance, construction, trail crews, and volunteer training; our Land Acquisition program; and our Outreach program.
