Visit a Butterfly Farm

 - we will tour the private butterfly garden of Mike and Jackie Malloy of Naples Butterfly.  Mike, "The Butterfly Man" is author of "Butterfly Gardening Made Easy for Southwest Florida" as well as having authored many articles for Naples Daily News.  He and Jackie also have a stand every Saturday at the Farmer's Market in downtown Naples.  Mike is very knowledgeable about both butterflies and gardening in general and Florida friendly gardening especially to save water and use less pesticides.  They raise butterflies, do butterfly art and sell host and nectar plants for butterflies.  After our tour his book and some plants will be available.
